Did Dharma Gurus walked for Samajwadi Party with party flag in their hand

Rumour

The above poster of the Samajwadi party is going viral on Whatsapp. This was brought to our notice by one of the users in our Facebook group.

In the poster, five Dharma Gurus can be seen holding the official flag of the Samajwadi party in their hands and walking in support of the party. The poster also has the image of Meera Deepak Yadav who is a local leader of the party.

Our Investigation

Swami Dipankar, who is one of the five Gurus pointed out on Twitter that the social media team of the Samajwadi party has photoshopped his image and wrongly used in the poster.

Swami Dipankar also shared the original image which was taken when he along with other gurus had walked on Bagha border with tri-colour in their hands.

This is also pointed out by Acharya Lokesh Muni on Twitter.

Fact

The poster is photoshopped. Here is the real image.

The image was taken when Acharya Lokesh MuniSwami DipankarGoswami Sushil jiDR. IMAM UMER ILYASI and Paramjit Singh Chandhok walked on Wagah border with tricolours in their hand.
