A journalist associated with NDTV tweeted a picture in which many buses can be seen standing in a queue on the road. Along with the picture, he wrote "Good News. UP government has allowed the operation of buses sent by Congress".

Many other users are also sharing the picture on social media.

Our Investigation

A reverse image search of the picture showed several old articles in which the same picture has been used. The picture was used by Times Now in an article dated March 01, 2019, about India's Guinness World Record of parading 500 Kumbh Mela special buses in Prayagraj.

The same picture was used by NDTV as well on 28th Feb 2019 in a similar report.

Fact

The viral picture from 2019 when India had set a Guinness World Record of parading 500 Kumbh Mela special buses in Prayagraj.

However, it is true that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had written a letter to the UP government requesting for permission to ply 1000 buses for the migrant laborers.

As per the latest report, the Uttar Pradesh government has accepted Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's proposal to ply 1000 buses to ferry migrant workers into the state.
