An image that captures Muslim children holding placards which says “Massacre those who insult Muslims” has been shared several on social media claiming that it is from an anti-CAA protest in Kolkata.  

A Facebook user Tanoy Dey shared the image with a caption, "Not Pakistan or Bangladesh......#CAA. We have forgotten about the torture of Hindus that happened in the past days. Still, we will talk about communal harmony. PS-Islam is the religion of peace".

In the placards that the children are holding, the organising committee has been mentioned as a Kolkata based committee and that is why the Facebook post claims that the image is from Kolkata.

Old picture, not related to CAA protests

However, the actual context of the protest can be known by doing a simple reverse image search. The result of the search leads us to a Getty Images page which shows that the protest was actually against a film called the ‘Innocence of Muslims’. In conclusion, the claim is false that anti-CAA protesters held placards with the message "Massacre those who insult Islam".
