Fact Check: Did Arvind Kejriwal ask people to vote for the Congress in Delhi Elections?

The viral claim is false that Arvind Kejriwal is asking Delhiites to vote for Congress.

Before the assembly elections in Delhi, a video of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is going viral on social media. In the video, Kejriwal can be heard appealing to people to vote for the Congress in this election. It is being claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is advising Delhi voters to vote in favor of the Congress.

A Facebook page name Bawana ka Byaura shared a video of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in which he is appealing to not to vote Akali Dal and BJP, but to vote for Congress.

3 years old video from Punjab assembly elections 

In the investigation, we found that the viral video is 3 years old from the time of Punjab assembly elections, and the viral video has been created by tampering the original video.

To find out the truth of this video, we searched Arvind Kejriwal's Facebook account, and we get the full version of the viral video. We also found that the viral video has been created by tampering the original video. On 30 January 2017, before the elections in Punjab, Kejriwal was live on Facebook, he said in this video: "For two days there have been reports that RSS people and Akali Dal have started door-to-door campaigning to persuade people to not vote for Akali Dal and BJP in this election, instead everyone vote for Congress".

Earlier, the tampered version of this video of Arvind Kejriwal has gone viral with similar claims and again he came live on Facebook on 2 February 2017 and he made it clear that the video that is going viral is tampered one. He clarified that he did not appeal to vote for the Congress, instead, he was saying that RSS and Akali Dal people are making such an appeal.

Conclusion, The viral claim is false that Arvind Kejriwal is asking Delhiites to vote for Congress in the investigation we found that the viral video is 3 years old and has been tampered with the original video.
