Fact Check

In our Investigation, we found that the viral video is cropped from a speech of Arvind Kejriwal from 2016 in Surat, Gujarat where he was referring to Home Minister Amit Shah.

After doing a keyword search on Google, we found the entire portion of the viral video on the Aam Aadmi Party's YouTube channel. Arvind Kejriwal gave this speech in Surat, Gujarat in October 2016.

The viral clip can be seen in this video after 14 minutes 54 seconds. After listening to the full video, it is cleared that Kejriwal is talking about Amit Shah. Kejriwal says, "Today we know who is going to run Gujarat. Amit Shah is running Gujarat. Amit Shah has been running Gujarat for the last few years. At the time of Anandiben Patel, they had a difference of opinion on certain issues. So, Vijay Rupani was introduced. Now Vijay Rupani does what Amit Shah says."Amit Shah has a warning for Gujarat, Amit Shah has a challenge for Gujarat that I will run Gujarat as I wish, "People of Gujarat if you protest against me then I will crush you, and, you can do whatever you want."

The Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat official Tweeter handle also quote tweeted Harsh Sanghavi's tweet calling it fake.

In conclusion, the viral claim is false that Arvind Kejriwal is threatening in a speech saying that if Gujaratis oppose him, he will crush them.
