An unrelated video of a Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) simulation clip of a tornado is being falsely shared as a video of cyclone Nivar.
On November 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Zydus Cadila's Biotech Park in Ahmedabad and assessed the preparations of the much-awaited Covid-19 vaccine. The company management, led by Chairman Pankaj Patel, briefed Modi on the vaccine development, its logistics and commercial aspects. In the wake of it, a news report published by a Gujrati news website 'Divya Bhaskar', claimed that during the visit of Changodar, PM Modi arrived in Zydus Cadila's Chairman Pankaj Patel's car.
However, the claim made in the news report is false. The fact-checking arm of the Press Information Bureau dismissed the claims made in the report on Twitter and clarified that the car belongs to the Government of Gujarat, and not to Pankaj Patel.
PIB Fact check wrote, "A news article by Divya Bhaskar claims that PM @narendramodi arrived in Zydus Cadila's chairman Pankaj Patel's BMW car during his Changodar visit on 28 November 2020. #PIBFactCheck: This claim is #Fake. The car belonged to the Government of Gujarat, not any private company."
Two days earlier, PM Modi also reviewed the preparation of the Covid-19 vaccine in Bharat Biotech of Hyderabad and Serum Institute of India apart from Zydus Biotech Park.
Hence, the claim that PM Modi arrived in Zydus Cadila's chairman Pankaj Patel's BMW car during his Changodar visit is false. The car belonged to the Government of Gujarat, not any private company.
