A video of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh addressing a rally is going viral on social media with the claim that crowd in his rally shouted Chowkidar Chor Hai.
The official Twitter handle of Madhya Pradesh Congress tweeted the video with a caption "Chowkidar Chor Hai: Suniye Rajnath Singh Bhi Galti se Kya Nara Lagwa Baithe..? Har Taraf Chowkidar Ki Chori Ke Afsaane Hai, Tum Mano Na Mano, Lekin Jag Sara Jaane Hai. Ye Manzar To Ab Aam Ho Gaya, Chor Unka Naya Naam Ho Gaya".

Another verified user Amit Mishra tweeted the video with a caption that Rajnath Singh wanted to hear the slogan of Chowkidar Sure hai but the public didn't agree and shouted: "Chowkidar Chor Hai" which is the pet slogan of Congress Party.
It has been tweeted by many other users on Twitter.
The video has the logo of ANI and when we searched on Youtube, we found an extended version of the video which was uploaded on the official Channel of ANI.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had attended a public rally in East Delhi on 26th March. Responding to the derogatory slogan of the Congress party "Chowkidar Chor Hai", he said, “Chowkidar chor Nahi, Chowkidar pure hai. Chowkidar ka Dobara PM banana sure hai, Desh ki samasyaon ka woh hi cure hai.” You can watch the extended video here:
Since ‘Pure’ and ‘Chor’ are two words with similar phonetics, somebody may get confused with these two words especially when it is being told.
The crowd in Rajnath Singh Rally didn't shout Chowkidar Chor Hai. They were responding to Rajnath Singh's call and shouted "Chowkidar Pure Hai".
