Recently, a video of an infant with ‘three eyes’ is going viral on social media.

The video is being shared with captions in Telegu that can be roughly translated to, 'a strange baby was born abroad' or 'the three-eyed man has also arrived on earth.'

Our Investigation

A closer look at the video reveals that the video has been created using editing software and shared online. The left eye has been superimposed on the forehead of the baby.  One can clearly see that the right eye and the ‘third’ eye have the same movement.

Moreover, there are no credible reports to suggest what is shown in the video is a real case of a baby with three eyes.

In conclusion, an edited video showing a baby with three eyes is being falsely presented as a real video of 'three-eyed baby."
