A poster highlighting the infrastructure development of Delhi Schools is going viral on social media. The poster has the picture of Delhi'sChief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and an illuminating building while the message on the poster reads, "No it's not a 5-star hotel, it's a Delhi Govt school in Dwarka. Education revolution in Delhi".
We received the poster on Whatsapp from one of our readers.
When we probed the poster, we found that it was shared by a Facebook page "Palam Metro Station New Delhi" on 23rd October.
We did a reverse image search on Google and found that the picture used in the poster was shared by one of the AAP supporters during the Loksabha election earlier this year.
While sharing the picture, a verified Twitter user Prithvi Reddy wrote, "Many people have not physically seen this huge improvement in Government Schools. Once they do see it no reason for them to vote for anyone but @AamAadmiParty !!! Apparently both BJP and Congress are asking for Polling booths to be shifted".
We also found that the same picture was shared by AAP supporters in March as well and was debunked by The Quint's "Webqoof" back then.
The picture was tweeted by the official Twitter handle of CMO Madhya Pradesh as of Chhindwara Medical College on Feb 28, 2019. The caption reads, "Today Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath will also inaugurate Chhindwara Medical College. During his Chhindwara visit HCM will Inaugurate and lay foundation stone of different development projects costing over 1944 Crore rupee".
The official website of the Chhindwara Medical College too has the same set of photos on its homepage.
The picture used in the poster highlighting the infrastructure development of Delhi's govt school is actually of Chhindwara Medical College, MP.
