There are a number of temples in Delhi that are much older than 100 years which clearly means that the claim 'no temple in Delhi or in its nearby area is older than 100 years' is FALSE.
A post on twitter was shared more than 2000 times which claimed that no temple in Delhi or nearby areas, is older than 100 years whereas there are few Churches and Mosques that are centuries old. A twitter user named Shushil Pandit wrote, "Delhi, known as Indraprastha during the Mahabharata era, is at the core of our many millennia-old civilizations. Within its 100 KM radius, you can't find a single Mandir that is even a 100 yrs old. I can show you here an over 800 yrs old mosque and an over 250 yrs old cathedral."
When other users pointed out to Birla temple, he responded that Birla temple is also not a century-old as it was built in 1939.
It appeared unrealistic that there are no temples older than 100 years in Delhi as Hindus constitute a majority of the population in India.
While researching old temples in Delhi, we found temples that are not only 100 years old but dates back to AD.
