The minister was out of India, touring Europe where delegation level talks were held with many countries and landed back on the 23rd this month. She claimed to have no knowledge of the series of events which unfolded in India during her absence and tweeted the same.
I am back in Delhi after my visit to Italy, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and European Union.— Sushma Swaraj (@SushmaSwaraj) June 24, 2018
But in the meantime, the minister had faced a lot of flak on twitter with many trolls abusing her and some of them going to the extent of making fun of her health condition. Her account rating on Facebook also declined drastically from 4.3 stars out of five to 1.4 stars. This was the wrath of her angry supporters.
Sushma Swaraj later took to twitter and called out all the trolls by liking and retweeting some tweets. She tweeted out saying that she was honoured with some tweets. Since then, she has been liking and un-liking the abusive tweets showcasing the abuse she faces on social media.
