A video is going viral on social media with different narratives. Various claims have been made on social media accusing people of vandalizing the solar panel due to political motivation.
A video shared on Facebook on October 7 showed some people breaking solar panels. The page named 'BJP Khargone Barwani' claimed that 'uneducated Congress members first damage Crores of the project of Modi's government and the ask where is development'. The video, shows people hammering and breaking the solar panels.
We found similar claims floating all around social media. However, the blame shifted time to time from Congress to BJP depending on the person/profile sharing it. Another Facebook profile by the name of 'Jaya Narendra Bhati' shared the same video claiming the solar panels were broken by BJP supporters after a BJP parliament member made some religious claims.
A twitter profile by the name of Gaurav Pradhan also shared the same video but claimed 'anti-Modi Gangs' were behind the destruction. The tweet drew a lot of attention and was liked by more than 900 times.
Fact Check :
Since the allegation is against both parties, a common thought would be that either of them is right. But, unfortunately, we can't make any of the supporters happy as the stories shared by both of them is wrong. The shared video has first surfaced online on surfaced online in February. Workers from Maharashtra were not paid their wages and they protested by breaking solar panels. A fact check done by a local Gujarati news channel suggested the same. Also, the channel by the name 'Climate Samurai' on which the video has first appeared claims the same.
The second claim which says a parliament member named Ashok Saxena has incited the destruction is also false. There are two BJP MPs named Ashok. One is Ashok Kumar Doharey from Uttar Pradesh and another, Ashok Mahadeorao Nete from Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha. There is no BJP MP called Ashok in Rajya Sabha. The so-called "Ashok Saxena" doesn't exist.

Conclusion: The different claims being made on social media are not correct.
