In the Tweet, Vijay claims that the murial of "GauMata, mother Cow feeding her calf so lovingly" was discovered for the first time on that day. The Tweet also claims the ASI officials present told: "nobody has ever seen this sculpture before."
At Fact Hunt, we ran a reverse image search with the photo. It was found that the photo was taken by Madhusudan Tawde of Dinodia on May 22, 2007. The photo is available for sale at the stock photos website Alamy.com and Dinodia.com, the official website of Dinodia.
Here, the date of the photograph is mentioned as May 22, 2007.
At agefotostock.com, it states that the photo was taken by Madhusudan Tawde. The watermark with the photograph's name is visible on the photo here.
Both websites state that the photo is from the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque in the Qutub Minar complex.
In conclusion, the photo of a cow murial at Qutub Minar shared by Tarun Vijay was not discovered "for the first time" on April 16. The same photo has been available on the Internet since 2007.
