The truth behind the claim

In our investigation, we found this claim to be false. The viral image dates back to January 2018, when Hrithik Roshan became a part of the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh.

With the help of a reverse image search, we found a video uploaded on a YouTube channel on January 6, 2018, showing the same visuals. The video uploaded on the verified YouTube page Bollywood Spy shows Hrithik Roshan along with his father Rakesh Roshan attending an event. The title of the video reads 'Hrithik Roshan ATTENDS Celebrations Of Guru Gobind Singh Birth Anniversary'.

We also the viral image shared by a Twitter user along with some other images of the event on January 8.
