The viral image of a truck being set on fire was taken in 2016 during the violence in Bengaluru over the Cauvery water dispute. It has nothing to do with the violence in Pulikeshi Nagar on August 11.
Amid the heavy rainfall in Delhi when some parts of the city are getting submerged in water, a video was shared on Twitter by INC member Abhishek Dutt in which a man can be seen giving swimming lesson to a woman in an area which appears to be a part of the house, filled with floodwater.
While sharing the 12-second clip, Abhishek indicated that the video is from Delhi. He wrote in Hindi, "World-class swimming pool, another promise fulfilled? Please do not name Kejriwal."
With the help of reverse image search, we found that this video was widely shared on Facebook 11 months back, with a claim that the video is from Bihar.
A Facebook user named Shashi Singh shared the video with a caption in Hindi suggesting that the video is from Bihar.
With the help of relevant keyword searches, we found this clip is an India News report dating back to September 2019. According to the report, the video is from Prayagraj, UP, where a husband was giving a swimming lesson to his wife. Last year, some areas of Prayagraj witnessed floods. Some other videos of the same couple, enjoying in the flood water were shown in the news report.
In conclusion, an old video of a couple enjoying in flood water in Prayagraj being falsely shared to be from Delhi.
